She is an active participant on our Team and is the first to volunteer for a project, support or special need. She has participated in focus groups and has provided great insight, ideas and suggestions for team engagement activities - and she will gladly take the lead to get things rolling! Most recently, our team developed a Cookbook/2020 memento and Kristan led the way to get associates involved and to develop the content. She then volunteered to establish the book's layout and spent personal time to help bring the idea to fruition. Lastly, Kristan's attitude is inspiring. She is focused, upbeat, generous, respectful and always, always, always willing to help. She will persevere through anything and is very committed to producing quality outcomes. I’m Kristy DeWick—artist, creator, and the mind behind the Studio.
My work lives at the intersection of art, storytelling, and creative strategy. I move between photography, mixed media, design, and modeling—blending structure and intuition to create work that feels both expressive and intentional.
I’ve spent over 30 years creating—through art, photography, and creative projects—and over time, that path has expanded into business, branding, and helping others bring their ideas to life. My background includes studies in accounting, small business management, culinary arts, and marketing, along with certifications in online marketing and AI branding and design. I’m currently working toward my Adobe certification in graphic design and illustration.
But beyond the titles and training, my work is rooted in experience—years of creating, evolving, and learning how creativity and life intersect. I’ve worked in hospitality and event planning, often centered around community, charity, and connection. I continue to support nonprofits through design work, especially those serving women, veterans, and individuals experiencing homelessness.
Creativity, for me, isn’t just a skill—it’s a way of processing, healing, building, and connecting. I’ve spent the past several years exploring that more deeply through DBT practices, both personally and in how I guide others.

Outside of the work, I’m a mother, a grandmother, and someone who finds just as much joy in quiet moments, creative exploration, and everyday life as I do in building something meaningful.
